Thousands of people are shocked to see a car perform a series of dangerous maneuvers in Alicante: "Overtaking there on a solid line is truly reckless."

Anyone who drives can accidentally make a mistake behind the wheel. Sometimes we accidentally park in a loading and unloading zone, in a ford, or forget to use our turn signal. But some reckless acts are much more serious than others. Some of them can even put our own lives and the lives of others at risk.

And sometimes, people forget the importance of connecting all five senses while driving a vehicle. Doing so is essential for your own safety, but also for the safety of other drivers and others around you who could be injured if an accident were caused by your carelessness.

There are many reckless driving incidents in Spain. A few years ago, these incidents were only remembered by those who experienced them. However, today, with the advent of social media, some profiles compile videos of reckless road situations. This is the case with Dashcams España, whose posts number in the thousands and are updated daily. Profiles like these give us an idea of how dangerous road conditions are in our country.

This Instagram account recently shared a video showing a car driving down a street in Sant Vicent del Raspeig, Alicante. The images were captured from inside a car driving along this road.

At the beginning of the video, you can already see two vehicles traveling at excessive speeds for the type of road they are on. However, the worst is a white car trying to overtake the vehicle capturing the scene on video. On its first attempt, it fails, as its lane runs out before it can complete the overtaking.

However, the driver of the white car doesn't give up trying to overtake the car in front of him. So, later on, he enters the oncoming lane, crossing the solid line, and overtakes the car very quickly. In doing so, he even bounces when he hits a bump at very high speed. All of this, only to stop right at a traffic light.
